Include Your Facebook Page In Estate Plan

All the accounts you access online should be part of your estate plan.

A story on business-news.thestreet.com says all those accounts and their passwords should be part of your estate planning.

It recommends your spouse or another trusted person has your password for financial accounts. But it also says your estate planning documents should include a list of all online accounts and their passwords for your executor. You can stipulate what should be done with email and other accounts at your death.

If you have password management software, you can just give your spouse or executor the master password, which unlocks the others. This should include accounts such as Facebook and LinkedIn. If not, the accounts may just be deleted.
